Sustainability in textile world

Our way to reduce textile waste- use of recycled and repurposed natural fibres.

In recent years there are so much awareness going around the globe regarding the textile waste where tons of clothing and other textile waste go to landfills everyday. The shocking truth is huge portion of these unwanted textiles can be recycled or reused. And in my mind the question arises what we are doing about it? How can we work with sustainable fabrics that is already existed? We at Holistic Needlecraft have the mission to bring the landfill waste awareness into a functional lifestyle product. We are starting with few product lines where we are using recycled natural fabrics back to the life in a new form and a new style.

Colorful little stitch world

When the technology is over bound, there are people who seek solace in traditional needle and thread craft. Slow stitching is a traditional hand stitching. And hand sewn technique used for hand quilting, embroidery work, making and mending kanthas and Sashiko. Slow stitching makes the use of running stitches to create unique stitch art which are mostly done by layering pieced and whole fabrics together to achieve the desired thickness and size and hand sew parallel running stitch to create unique and one-of-a-kind blankets, quilts and throws.

Our vision

My vison of needle work is a social enterprise that offers holistic solutions to social inequalities. Since 2021 I have started my journey from our basement workshop. We are taking steps to get involved with local charitable functions and making donations to causes. With that regards since my childhood, I had always the dream to support Children welfare globally. Our goal is  also to contribute equally to the community we live in.
